You would have to talk to your probation officer and get permission.
If you go without discussing it and getting an okay you most likely would get into a deep mess.

If you do not reside in Nevada then you will be automatically violating your probation if you leave the state. If you are arrested in Nevada you will be held there in jail until your state sends for you to attend your probation violation hearing. I seriously doubt if your PO is going to give you permission to visit Las Vegas unless your mother or father live there and you haven't seen them in a million years. Going on vacation while on probation is NEVER a good idea. If you don't get prior written permission from your PO (which for vacations happens almost never to leave the state) you are going to have a swell vacation courtesy of your state in jail. Felony probation is not to be taken lightly either and leaving the state without prior permission is really a crap shoot on your part.

Were having a family reunion in Las Vegas, my sister PO said that she could not go because of Black out dates for felons visiting in April between the 25th thur 29th which is when the reunion is, we were taking my mother who is 83 there.

She has been on probation for 2 years and has 3 years left, is there a chance that we could get a letter from the state of Nevada to allow her to visit for the 3 days? We would do anything to take my mother there...

Either pick another place to take your mother, or go to Vegas without your sister. Those are the choices.

    Hello k:

I never heard of "blackout days". Somehow, I think it's made up.. I'd ask to see what publication speaks to "blackout days".
