    Does having hyperplasia mean you might have cervical cancer?

    It Depends. There are several different types of hyperplasia. Simple, Simple with Atypia, Complex, and Complex with Atypia. Each one having a higher risk of progression to endometrial cancer. The only type of hyperplasia that is associated with cancer at the time of diagnosis is Complex Hyperplasia with Atypia. Endometrial cancer co-exists with this 25-30% of the time. Hope this helps.
