    40 weeks pregnant
    I am 40 weeks pregnant tomorrow. I have a white discharge that gets heavy at times. It has an odor, but not a fishy one. Is this something I should be concerned about at this point in my pregnancy? I was just at the doc on Wed.

    It can be normal to have increased discharge throughout much of pregnancy and sometimes even more towards the end of pregnancy. It usually isn't a problem as long as the odor is not strong and you have no burning or itching along with it. It can be part of your body's way of preparing for labor in the last weeks of pregnancy.

    For the peace of mind, you can always give your doctor a call, even if you just saw them.
