Hello I need some help over an old ex from years ago . We are about 7 years split up an when we split he went out with a colleague , in recent months he has added me on Facebook an started texting me again . I got a few texts from him at 2 an 3 and 4 am saying goodnight only , he says he doesn't want to get back together an we both agreed it was best if we didn't but he s still texting me when he s drunk , when we were dating years back he got it hard to ever tell me his real feelings he s quite shy an asked me to go to New York one night when he was drunk an he meant it really, he says he is single an he couldn't wait to tell me he was single again three months , but now he just texts every few days, he since quit being friends due to me having to correct him on some of the texts about wanting me for fun . He apologised for annoying me but he really doesn't know that he isn't annoying me at all . I am recently single an I don't know what he sthinking or why he is still texting , he says when he drunk he might send me something stupid again an wanted to stop all contact . Should I wait to see what happens on valentines day see does he still have feelings for me I still have one or two for him I think but I don't know what way he feels he would nt tell me the truth he s too shy an he is impossible to see or run into anywhere even though we just live a few mile from each other , please help I want to know what to do here
