Hi,
I have a cycle of 26 days. I have very regular periods. I am planning for a second child. My period which started on the right date and it generally gets over on the fourth day but this time it continued for seven days. I had taken Sylate to stop my periods as I was having a heavy flow till then. When will I ovulate then considering this scenario? Give me a time so that I can conceive. My date of LMP was 4th Feb and lasted up to 11 Feb. Please suggest?

I am not a doctor, but I suggest you wait for your next period as you have taken sylate. My doc told me that it is better to follow this,, start counting from the 1st day of your periods, you usually ovulate from the 9th day till the 16th day, which differs from person to person. I was asked to try either on the 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th day or 10th 12th 14th and 16th day. Thought irregular, it worked for me twice. I was to abstain from sex 2 days prior to ovulating. Give it a try. I conceived in 3 months.
Also, please note that you have to be very positive, no tensions, no emotional break downs, etc. if the test is negative, don't feel bad, wait for a couple of days more and try again. All the best. I hope to hear a good news from you very soon.
