First Violation of Probation? In California
I was recently released from prison in California. Under new California law parole for most none violent, non gang, no sex offense, no high risk offenders are now placed on probation and no longer have parole after coming out of prison. My question is what am I looking at for my fist violation of probation. For not checking or reporting with the probation department. If I turn myself in will that help my sentencing I have been out of prison for three months and have not checked in for that time
