    I Want to get pregnant.
Okay So I want to get pregnant but for the last year it seems that my period comes every 3 months. That means I really don't know when I ovulate and it makes it more difficult to know when the best time to get pregnant is. Please help!

I can totally relate to you girl me and my boyfriend would always I mean almost everyday we would have unprotected sex and he would always *** inside me, but there was no luck for more than a year. And I am also very very irregular I would miss my period for 2 months or 3 smetyms evn 6 months its crazy! It drove me crazy because I also wanted to get pregnant really bad so I was worrying that I might just never have any kids, but last month I found out that I'm pregnant just that I'm still unsure if I'm having a miscarriage, miscarriade, or Dr.just took my suggested date of when was my last menstrual when I've told them that I'm not sure when was my last period so the dr. Said I did miscarriad but really though in my heart my baby isn't dead she saw a ring in my sac and I know that I barely started showing she couldn't figure out what that big ring shape was but I know it's my baby I'm going back for my next ultrasound next 2 weeks so I'll just wait. And as for you just relax don't think when you and your hubby have sex just have fun don't think too hard. You have to enjoy it and not think about planning this and that just so you can get pregnant because the more you think about it the more its unlikely to happen I should know because that's what I did

With irregular cycles you are likely not ovulating on a regular basis either. With fewer cycles, you have fewer chances to conceive. Have you spoken to your doctor about plans to become pregnant? You may want to ask about ways to try and help regulate your cycles first.

You could try ovulation predictor kits, which work well for some women, but you would need to use several. Can help to start once you do have a period so you have a starting place to use them with. Other ways to determine when you might be ovulating would be to start temping and charting. You will see a slight drop and rise in temp about the time of ovulation and then usually the temp will stay up a bit to where it continues to be up if you become pregnant or it will drop soon before a period is due. This method can take several months to notice a pattern, but again will be more difficult with irregular cycles. Checking for physical changes of your body preparing for ovulation would include checking cervical position and changes in cervical mucus.

First step would be to discuss your plans with your doctor... have a preconception visit.
