    Adult rights to a child?
My daughter is 6 years old. She is not biologically mine, but I have been caring for her since birth. I have paid for daycare, school, clothing, food, etc. Her mom and I split time with her. I've been helping support my daughter but there is no set amount financially given. Her mother and I are not together and not going to be together. Do I have any rights whatsoever to my daughter.

What State are you in? There may be some rights that you can pursue depending on local laws. Some states allow for significant influences to remain in a child's life.

So she's not biologically yours, then how did you come to be her father? Are you on the brth certificate.

ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area. There are some areas with laws that will allow paternity in the case of someone who fulfills the role of parent where another parents isn't around.

    Where is the bio father?
