90 honda accod overheated now won't turn on
I've been having overheating problems for a few months when it started I tested the thurmostat and it was OK but I left it out anyway and I did a radiator flush and put a new hose that had a small leak but still over heated till o bad rattle type noise started getting loud fron=m the timing belt area so I replaced the water pump and mad sure to put enough sealant on the gasket then it was fine for a while till the coolant started leaking from the inside of the car and I bypassed the heater core then it was OK but started to overheat again and lost and I had to constantly fill it back up every week till I started hearing that same rattle but I had no time so I would drive it and when it would start getting to hot I would pull over till this morning that I was driving and it instantly over heated and I couldn't pull to the side of the highway due to some walls that the put up cause of construction so what I did was put it in nutreal and turn it off and let it drift to an open area were they were still doing construction I checked the radiator and there was no fluid so I put some in and let it cool off then I tried to start it and it turned on but I had to pump the gas and when I stopped it shut off on the second attempted it didn't turn on so I decided to open the distributor cap and a lot of oil came out so I took it off cleaned it and put it back on and still got nothing I should also say I had to bypass the fan switch and run the fan straight o the battery since it was over heating and it kept it cool for a while till this happened sorry for the long message but just want to give you all the details please helo I got a baby on the way next month and this is my only car

Remove the spark plugs and check each cylinder's compression. The results will help you decide if the aluminum head warped, head gasket blew, and/or valves were damage. Don't replace the distributor, until you find out the results. The prognosis does not look good.

I'm with TxGreaseMonkey on this... you should consider looking into getting a used engine to replace this one if the car is in good enough shape. Aluminum engines (or even just aluminum heads) don't like being overheated once much less repeatedly. I think it would take a miracle at this point for an easy fix.

Well when I removed the oil cap I had coolant and oil mixed because there was a milky substance in the cap but when I took the valvecover off the oil looked OK and I only get that substance when it over heats pretty bad but when I drive it and it don't heat up too much I don't get it and also I had a bad misfire but that is probably cause of all the oil in the distributor or also my wires don't really click on to the plug real well don't know why that's how they are for this car cause there brand new and it's the second pair I've gotten for the car
