Hey, I'm 13 years old and I'm crazy about this guy at school, but he is 16. He doesn't know me but I really want to go out with him. Would he even be the slightest bit interested in a 13 year old? Please help me out. Thanks!

He may want to have sport to see if he could have sex with her and then dump her. But most would have no interest in someone that age.

A 16 year old boy doesn't have a lot in common with a 13 year old. But, he could be interested. Would it last? No.

Wouldn't really matter though. If her parents don't agree with her dating this boy, it's a no go. What they want doesn't really matter. It's up to mom and dad.

The most likely reason a 16 yr old would be interested in a 13 yr old is for sex. Especially one who lets the guy know she is "crazy" about him so he might think she would do anything for him.

But the key here is your parents. Have you talked to them about dating? Will they give you permission to date?

I was reading in my local newspaper yesterday about a survey done on middle schoolers about dating. Most indicated that dating should start between 13-15, but only with parental permission and most stated they would not sneak around if their parents didn't allow it.
