    Is creditor able to garnishing ss and pension and take home in PA
    Is creditor able to garnish ss and pension. Am 76 and live in an older rv.. are they able to take that as well?

    SS, no, unless it's for specific purposes involving support (alimony, spousal payments, child support).

    Pension - yes, if it's a private pension. Keep in mind that a creditor can freeze your entire bank account if funds are co-mingled (SS and pension) and that leaves YOU to prove that some of that money (the SS part) cannot be taken. Your account will be frozen while they figure that out.

    In theory, depending on the State, yes, creditors can take personal property. Would they? I very highly doubt it to the point of "almost" guaranteeing they won't.

    Of course, how much do you owe and where?
