    Draining bump on scalp

About three years ago I noticed a small pea-sized bump on the top right side of my scalp. It has been there without any change, until about 2 months ago. It started to get bigger, now to be the size of a nickel). The other night it started to drain puss & blood. Three days later intermittantly it is still draining. Could this be something serious & do I need to see a doc?

While I don't know how serious it is, it could be nothing more than a sebaceous cyst (we can get them all over our bodies), you should indeed seek the advice of your doctor. Only he can physically examine this and tell you beyond the shadow of a doubt what this is and what, if any, treatment is needed for it.
