    Ex husbands judgement
    I recently found out there is a 22,000 dollar judgement on my ex. In which is holding me back from getting a equity loan on my property. How do I get this off.

    So the judgment is showing on your credit report. That means that the creditor was showing the debt owed by both of you.

    If you have documentation showing that the debt was NOT owed by both of you, then you should dispute that entry with the credit bureau that shows it.

    Is the judgement on your credit report ?
    Is there a lien on your property because of this.

    Why is it effecting you. Unless this is a joint debt or unless his name is still on the property, I don't see how it is effecting you.
