Hot water/heating oil fuelled boiler on the blink
I woke up this morning to find my boiler not working. The gauge showed that the pressure in the system had dropped so I recharged it to nearly 2 bar as I had no result on 1 bar. There are two switches, first the heating switch that I use when I just want hot water. Second the pump switch for when I want to use the central heating as well. Next to the second switch is a third red light (not switch) with a triangle symbol underneath which now comes on when I switch on the pump. The boiler is a TARM (pretty ancient but worked well hitherto) and there is a circulation pump (? I think that's what it is) called a CUENOD C4 which looks to me as if it is responsible for pumping oil from the tank to the boiler.

I've checked the diesel level in the boiler, the tank measures 1m w x 1m d x 2m l and I have 15cm depth of fuel left, which unless I've made a huge mistake (very possible) means I've got 150 litres of fuel left?

I'm a clueless amateur. Is there anything I can do to get this going or should I wait tntil tomorrow and call out an engineer? Not sure how I would get someone today. I'm in rural France, the temp is well below zero (-14 last night) and I have a 4 week old baby...

    Any help very much appreciated.

Getting closer: It seems to be the CUENOD C4. There's a safety button on there that when I press the whole thing starts to work and then it cuts out again. Can there be a fuel blockage? How would I check and clear it?
