    Furlow reversal/dismissal or probation transfer
So OK I live in Ohio & was put on probation for a year for a dui. Part of my sentencing was to complete a 3 day driving school course for 300 bucks or do 3 days in jail, and I chose the latter. When I went in for it in July they held me for half a day and released me on a furlow program due to overcrowding. I only have to complete 16 hours of it and I've been waiting since July. This is supposed to be the last month of my probation, but my probation officer said it has to be extened until I complete the furlow, which she said should be in may, possibly later. I can't wait that long, I need to relocate to ct as soon as possible to attend to my fiancée who is scheduled for a very risky heart surgery and ill be damned if I can't be there just because of this. I explained the situation to my p.o. and asked if I could just do the 2 days in jail, she said no, and I think it's a buncha b.s. Basically what I'm asking is how can I just do the 2 days in jail, get it dismissed, or just get my probation transferred, and can they transfer it if its due to a furlow sentence? Also, if there is a way to do any of this how much would it end up costing me. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hello smokie:

Write a letter to your PO's supervisor telling him exactly what you told us here.

If you've got a grand or so, hire a lawyer.
