Yes, you can. All of your organs will suffer in some way and if it becomes a habit, you could die. This is why everyone in her family is worried about Demi Moore right now.

I'll let our site nurse know about your question. She will give you better info than I can.

I am not the 'site nurse' but in healthcare. Anorexia is a life threatening condition. I would really like you to read this website explaining, signs and symptoms and the downside of engaging in this eating disorder. Please enter 'anorexia' in search.

You don't have to lose the wrong way. Start walking, excellent cardio and all over aerobic work out. Walking for a half hour a day is good, but not knowing your physical or health condition can't say for sure, or what you eat at home.

How much do you weight now at 15? Willing to work with you on this

You mean by eating and then throwing up? That's called bulimia. It can damage your esophagus to the point where you can't eat and have to have what is called a PEG tube inserted so that you will get enough nourishment to live. You will lose all of the enamel on your teeth and they will start to rot and fall out.

So, yes, you can damage your health to the point of death. If you are trying to lose weight a proper diet and exercise regimen is more appropriate.
