Will he change his mind about our breakup?
My boyfriend just split up with me, he says he doesn't want to be in a relationship. We have been together for 5 months and he said there was nothing he doesn't like about me, but he has 2 kids and he works a lot of hours. He got ill a couple of weeks ago and he thinks it's because he has too much going on. His mates at work don't understand why he is splitting up with me.

He says his head is all messed up at the minute, and he feels guilty about not seeing his kids very much.

We split on good terms there was no shouting or anything. I love him loads and am hurting a lot. Do you think he will change his mind or should I move on?

May he change his mind ? Yes, but most likely it would be in the next couple of weeks if he does. If it is longer than that, normally he is just missing the memory more than the real relationship ( or just lonely at the moment).

So why not, give him a little space for a couple weeks, let him get his head clear. Next where you being "needy" with time? If he is working long hours, where you OK with him having his kids for a while. ( I will assume he gets the kids and takes them to his place, not visit with kids at babies momma house)

But in a couple week, ask him out and see what happens, if nothing, move on.

Don't wait around, start moving on. If he changes his mind then great, but I wouldn't count on it. Stress at work and the kids aren't going to go away, I think it will take a long period for him to be able to balance things in his life. Definitely stay away from him right now, your relationship has overwhelmed him.

You move on, just in case he Doesn't want to come back. Leave him alone.
