    what's it like in care? Is it as it is on telle, like kids nick your lunch and always hit you or is it nice, like a school is kindoff?

    Just how old are you?

    It's not a simple case of being "put into care", this is a serious step that is taken by Social Services when your parents are found to be breaking a number of statute laws.
    It is NOT something to fantasise about, no matter how glamorised it is shown on the television..

    Real Life isn't FAIR and a bed of roses, so get over it..

    "Someone" reports you are living in dangerous conditions and you are removed from your home, made a ward of the Court, placed in foster care - or a group home IF your current situation warrants.

    Foster care is not fun - for the foster parent OR the foster child. You're the kid in school who is in foster care. You're the kid without blood family on holidays and birthdays. You get tossed out of the system when you become legal age.
