    Evictions/Leases
    A judgement was entered on 110/29/11. Me and my owner came to an agreement since this house still needed so much work done to it, I would'nt charge him for the work I do. New Lease 11/1511-11/15/12 at $500.00 a month.Lasty week I found out there was a dispute about fraud in the property's ownership, and mentioned it to hi. Today 02/01/12 I received notice to vacate. Is my lease valid?

    What was the judgment about and for?

    If the person you entered into a lease with is not the owner, then your lease may be invalid. If he is than its valid. On the other hand, if you haven't breached the lease, then he has to honor it and can't evict.
