    How to pro rate?
    My rent is 650 dolls and I am moving in on the 17 of feb, what will my prorated amount be for my February Rent

    Since there are 29 days in Feb. this year, you would take $650 divided by 29 days to get a daily rent amount of $22.41.From the 17th to the 29th you would have 13 days. So 13 days times $22.41/day=$291.38.

    What does your lease say? Rent may not be due on a calendar month.

    It is not normal to pro rate rent, normally a full month rental is expected and paid when moving out.
