    Ex is forcing me out on a lease for a year that we both signed that's paid in full?
    My exs is trying to force me out of a lease that we both signed that was pay in full 13,000 for one year I don't want to move am I intitled to my half of the paid amount if I leave?

    What is the ex doing so as to force you out?

    Is he/she your spouse? If so, is a divorce pending?

    What country was this lease in? In the USA you very rarely ever pay the entire year up front. In fact I've never heard of any that you do.

    I do find it odd that a year's lease was prepaid. Was there a large discount for prepayment?

    But the question is what is your ex doing to force you out. Since you are on the lease, he has no legal grounds.

    Other nations often do paid in full leases for one or even two years. But not in the US.
