    I need help...
So I'm falling quickly for this kid I literally met like a week ago. He's perfect. Family loves him, he's attractive, he's just perfect. Anyway, so we've been going on dates and today was the best day I've had for a while. Now for the downside: he's leaving in a little less than 2 weeks to train for the marines. He'll be gone for 3 months. He wants to be "in a relationship" but I don't know. I would be not seeing him for longer than I've known him. He said we could write letters and stuff but I don't know. Do you think I should be in a relationship with someone I hardly know and won't be able to see for 3 months? I don't know... I NEED ADVICE!! Honest advice.

Depends on a lot of factors.

If it has just been a casual relationship, there is no point continuing as a long distance relationship.

But, if there has been any depth or seriousness in the relation, I would like you to at least give the long distance relationship a try.

There is also another way, both of you can take a break for those 3 months, and once he is back you can see whether the things can work out again or not.

Since you guys met just a week ago, there are very few chances that there is anything deep in this relation, but you are a better person to decide the depth than me...
