    How can I write a thesis for the movie the desk set?
    My point is human intelligence is better over technological intelligence. Technology can only go so far, it is very linear. Human intelligence can abstract bits and pieces of information from everywhere to come to a conclussion, how in the world do I make a thesis statement out of that?

    The movie Desk Set, starring an aging Spencer Tracy and Katherine Hepburn in their last movie together, brings back to mind a time in America when the hard work of using one's brain to find answers to life's questions was encouraged. Then came computers, the Internet, and other technology. Will these put people, especially reference librarians, out of work? Will that be progress? Should our success and fortune result only from the sweat of our brow and synapses firing in our brains, or can we accept technology as a way to improve our lives and increase our opportunities for leisure?

    I don't really know much about how computers 'think' but going on what you have provided... How about.


    "Human intelligence is superior to computer intelligence because computers use only linear reasoning. Humans on the other hand use linear and lateral thinking processes.

    The ability to use both types of reasoning makes human intelligence superior to computer intelligence."



    I am assuming that computers can only think one way. This may or may not be correct.

    Actually, they are now beginning to be able to program computers so they can think both ways.
