    Visitation
I have a son who is ten years old! His father and I separated when I found out I was pregnant and hasn't been around since he was two. I was a minor when I got pregnant and he was 21. I recently saw him in townthis wknd and am wondering can he seek visitation knowingly he is not listed on my sons birth certificate nor has he ever paid any child support? Please help!

Yes, Visitation is the right of a father. It is also separate from Child support. So a parent can have visitation without a support order.

He would have to go to court to establish paternity before a court would grant visitation. And it might be supervised in the beginning since they are effectively strangers. But unless you can prove he is a danger to the child visitation is likely to be granted.

Did you ever file for child support? If not, then how can you complain that he has never paid support?
