I have been with my boyfriend for 7 years. I love him with all my heart. He is the most amazing person I have ever met.We used to have sex every night but for the last year I think we have done it maybe 5 times. I have spoke to him on several occasions about this situation... and he just said that he was feeling low and to try and understand how he is feeling. So I backed off. We had a argument at the end of last year about the whole sex thing... I explained that I had been very patient. (a year) and that I am feeling very low,unloved, like I am not good enough for him, that I might be the problem... he said that it wasn't me and that it was him. He also said that he promised to change the whole situation and that it would go back to how it used to be... well I am still waiting.
I don't know what else I can say to him or do... I don't want to leave him.
I know for a fact that he has not cheated and does not watch porn. He only works part time (for his sister).
So the other night he promised we would have sex Thursday night... thursday night came... and he asked me if I wanted sex? But deep down I knew he didn't really want it, he was just doing that for me... So I asked him if that was the case and he flipped. I feel very awkward about having sex now, because it has been so long, but he didn't understand that. I feel like I have bullied him into having sex with me... so why would I enjoy it thinking like that?
I am 25 and he is 35... maybe the age gap is the problem?
All these thoughts just keep going round in my head... I don't know what to do... has anybody else been in this situation?

Did he use to have a full time job, has he been depressed over jobs? Is money a issue ?

But you both need to get into counseling and find the reasons for all of this.
