    Maintenance and visits
    I have DNA proof my exes child is mine, I pay £40 per week since the birth, maintenance, do I have to see the child, who is 6

    Laws vary by location, where are you located at. Have you proved paternity though the courts, are there any orders for visitation and support

    Warwickshire. No court orders, I had proper DNA test done for my peace of mind,and have voluntarily paid the £40 cash since the relationship ended. This is now going to be done by direct debit.

    To answer your question. No you do not have to see the child. That is your decision to make the courts can't force you to do it. The real issue is why don't you want to ?
