    My mother's estate final accounting
I just realized after 15 years that I never got a final accounting of my mother's estate.. and she had wanted me to receive an extra amount of money which was written on her will since my brother and sister are both very rich and I was and am struggling. My aunt was the executor and she had wanted me to say to the lawyer that I didn't want the extra money but, I refused to do that. My aunt also went to my mother's vault and pretended she was her... she first got the key from my mom's apartment.. . and she stole jewelry (that she denied) and other things and also gave stuff to my sister that was suppose to go to me. I realize now that I should have received more money... I was young when my mom died and I didn't know what was going on... Is there anything I can do? And can I still get a final accounting from the IRS?

No. How could the IRS give you an accounting? If an estate tax return was required, it wouldn't contain the information you need anyway.

Have you asked the lawyer? That would be your first step.

I'd hire an Attorney - for starters IRS has nothing to do with this.

After 15 years - there would be BIG problems attempting to collect.
