    Are you having a baby via artificial insemination and want your same sex partner to adopt the child?

    If that's the case you need to check local laws so we would need your location. Otherwise your post doesn't make sense.

    Of course there is a father. The only question is the legal status of the father. Sperm gotten from a sperm bank, or sperm from someone you know, or sperm from having sex.

    Next I will assume since it is not said, that this is a same sex couple, If so are you married. With that it will depend in where you live allows same sex adoptions, many places do not
