    Does this sound like herpes?
Please read entire story and help to determine if it could be herpes, I am scared. In November 2011 I noticed a bump on top part of penis and thought nothing of it. It didn't hurt or itch so I left it alone. After a few weeks bump still there I tried popping it but nothing happened. I did research and thought it could maybe be molluscum since it hadn't gone away. On Dec 26. 2011 I received oral but that was all for ten minutes. On Jan. 1, 2012 I noticed small red bumps on base of penis, about 6 to be exact. None of them clustered together they are all spread out. I went to the clinic to get tested two days later on Jan. 3. Nurse looked at bump from Nov. And said nothing of it but when noticed bumps on base of penis, she said it looked like herpes. She gave me a shot in my but she said to build up my immune system and maybe bumps would go away. I questioned her more on herpes and she really couldn't answer my questions, I'm guessing she wasn't as knowledgeable on the subject but she did give me information on another clinic that tested for herpes. I figured I would wait it out to see what happened. It has been 19 days now and the bumps are still there and look the same. They haven't burst open and they don't hurt. I haven't had any of the symptoms of herpes as far as burning, itching, headache, muscle pain, or fever. The bumps don't even hurt when I touch them. I feel fine the only symptoms are the bumps that remain the same. In some pictures I've researched they look more like molluscum then herpes. I'm really just not sure and really don't have the money to go get tested right now. Could someone please help me out and trying to figure out if I have herpes? My questions is could bumps still be same after 19 days and haven't popped, and still have no symptoms other than bumps which look like they have fluid in them?

Go to a clinic listed, a public health clinic or your doctor and get checked. There are 100's of STD besides herpes and in many even if they go away, you may still have something.

Not sure what type of clinic you went to, where they give you a shot not knowing what you have, but don't go back there for anything
