    Might I be pregnant?
Hi. I am not sure if I may be pregnant. I was supposed to start my period the first week of this month. I still haven't received it, but have take two pregnancy tests (Jan. 6th and 16th), they both came back negative. Is there a chance that I may be pregnant? Should I take another pregnancy test or make an appointment to see my doctor?

You should definitely see your doctor if you want accurate results.

The pregnancy tests claim to be 99% accurate, but they have to be taken in an appropriate way and there's always that 1% chance of bad result.

Still, you should know that the late period is not always due to pregnancy. There can be different reasons for that, and you should check why is it late, no matter if you're pregnant or not.
