    Do credit card companies know more about you than they should. How are they using it
    They are keeping track of your transactions and what and where you are shopping and where you live and basing decisions on that information.

    Both Discover and Chase have alerted me during the past twelve months when unusual charges appeared on my cards, so I like it that they are watching out for me.

    What "decisions" are you talking about?
