    Hunter thermostat installation?
I am trying to install a Hunter 44377, replacing a manual Honeywell thermostat. I labeled the wires as instructed; but the wire letter E (red orange color wire) and the white (W2) wires seem to go into the same hole. I really don't see where the red orange ( wire E)colored wire should go. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Not all stats are interchangeable. What exact type of furnace do you have and which old Honeywell did you take out? Are there two reds, fequently they are jumpered. Read post #3 in this link https://www.askmehelpdesk.com/heatin...eat-58313.html

It is UPG model AHP42C3XH21H replacing a Honeywell T8411R 1028. They were not jumpered. Not two reds.More of a burnt orange, rust color.
