    I have a DirecTV HD receiver, HDTV, & a DVD recorder. How do I record TV?
    I want to record off my directv saved movies. But I don't know how. Please help.

    Makes and models of your equipment will help me to be more specific to your situation.

    But basically you run video out from your DirecTV box to a video input on your DVD recorder and record from the matching video input (line 1 or 2 usually).

    So you mean you want to play a movie that was put into your DVR and record it to a DVD, is that right?If this is your situatio it will depend if you are running your TV through the DVD recorder/player
