Okay, my boyfriend asked me to go with him to his friend's house, who is a girl, last week for a movie and pizza. This other guy and girl were there too. Anyhoo, I went and it was okay, obviously nerveracking since I only knew my boyfriend and that guy. During the time I was there the girl who's house it was was talking to the other girl about a sleepover. In front of me. Then she said, 'Oh and you're invited too, I wouldn't talk about it in front of you and not invite you!" She's really nice, but I can't help feel that she only invited me because she was talking about it in front of me. So now I'm invited to her birthday which is also a sleepover. The guys are the only ones I know, and my boyfriend of course. There'll be the girls and guys who are a group of friends..and then me. Especially sleeping over since it'll only be the girls doing that, and I"ll be the odd one out. I'd like to go though. But I'm scared of the awkwardness. I s'pose it's good for me... but what do you think I should do?

I know it'll be weird going to the sleepover since you don't know the girls, but you should go and get to know them. Do it for your boyfriend. Talk to him and find out stuff about the girls. If you decide to go, make yourself be noticed. Don't sit there quietly otherwise they'll really cast you out. When they're talking about something put in your input.dont say a buch of things just say like you agree and stuff like that. If you gop overboard, then they might not like that. Hope it goes well.
