How to capture data from unfinalized mini DVD?
I have this problem. My friend were filming my birthday with a Sony handycam. Everything was OK. But when I tried to watch the videos in the morning cam only showed question marks and after few unsuccessful attempts it only showed that movie recording is disabled and dvd is full. It even doesn't let me finalize it and when I connect it to the computer, it shows no files, but all the dvd is full. So how can I capture the videos? I would be very grateful for your answers.

My dvd tries to load but after 30 seconds displays ERROR. Using a lens cleaning disc the drive will play for about 10 seconds then stop. I have cleaned the lens directly with a soft tissue but this has not resolved the problem. :confused:
Hi, All hard drives in the mini are rated at 5400 rpm. This being the case, what is the suitability of this unit to capture video? I know I'd have to get an external converter and firewire it to the Mini. Also is firewire 400 OK to use in this way? Thanks.
