In the beginning it sort of flattered me, it seemed harmless, I thought he was just being sweet that he wanted to know every detail of my life and what I was doing/where I was going, but now I can't go anywhere or do anything without him worrying whether I'm flirting with another guy. I'm very loyal and faithful, and I tell him all the time. I can't talk to my lifelong guy friends without him watching over my shoulder. I had to get rid of my Facebook account (so that I couldn't flirt with guys)… He reads me texts everyday, torments me for my past relationships. I can't have a sleep over with my girlfriends because he thinks we're going to sit and gawk at guys all day and hook up with them. I've disappeared from all of my friends lives, all of my good, honest friends who are in committed relationships.

I realize this is stemming from his deep insecurity, I always tell him how handsome he is and tell him I love him... but nothing ever consoles him. He tries to read my mind, and, if he can't read my mind, he reads my mail. I'm with him every day, talking to him every moment, sleeping with him every other night. I thought I was a jealous girlfriend at times, ha, but He's trying to tear me away from my own family and makes me cry constantly and never comforts me, but when he's upset, I rub his shoulders ask him if there's anything I can do...

By the way, HE never takes me out, we've been to the movies three times, but other than that, in the five months we've been together we've gone on no dates, just go to his house everyday and I watch him play music and talk about his music. And tells me I'll never find anyone like him... that I'm lucky to have him, nobody could possibly love me.

I'm just wondering, if there is anything I can do? Opinions/help. Has anyone has experience with this? I would like my life back but don't know how to have it without his approval/trust.
