    Edema is a build up of fluid, and marrow is found inside your bones; a contusion is a bruise. So the first part is you have some buildup of fluid in your bone because the bone was bruised. "Stress fracture" means broken bone from stress, as opposed to being hit or twisted, and the cuboid bone is one of the bones on the outside of your foot.

    If your unsure of what your results mean, don't be afraid to ask your doctor--it's their job to tell you! :)
