Why can't I stop crying? Please answer!
With school coming back, all I can think about is how much I don't want to go! Every time I think about it I start to cry! I'm not sure if there is a specific reason but I am not sure why. I just think of all the freedom I have now (it being Christmas Break and all) and then I compare it to the time I have to spend in school and doing homework. I'm not sure how I am going to survive high school, they have way more homework then I do now. I know I'm not even close, but when I think of high school and college, I get sad and start to tear up. Maybe I scard that I will fail and not be able to make it into the world after school is over. Thinking about it now I can't wait to be out of school... if I get a job that I like, it will be so much more enjoyable than school. So what I am basically asking is: how do I make it through this? Why do I even cry? Will I ever stop? If you have any idea what is wrong with me please answer me now! Please I just want to be happy again, and be able to enjoy thing with out thinking about what a disaster school is.

Sorry but after school there will be work, jobs, stress at if you will get laid off or fired, stress if you will or won't get a raise and so on. Going to high school with friends will be looked back as the fun time of you life.

Fr_Chuck is right. I was told this same thing when I was in school and I didn't believe it... now, I wish I was back in school. Work and the "real world" aren't all you think that they are. Enjoy your time in school.

Try to focus on this moment. If you worry about how much it will suck then you'll waste the fabulousness of NOW! Do you get what I'm saying? School is going to happen, whether you worry about it or not, so why not just focus on the here and now.
If you're crying and you can't stop, you might want to go and talk to someone. We all get stressed out from time to time but you might have some anxiety and/or depression going on. Do other people in your family suffer from depression or anxiety? This kind of thing frequently runs in families.

You apparently are a good student, judging from how you express yourself and your generally good writing. I'll bet you've enjoyed elementary school a lot, haven't you.

Well, high school will be even better. Yes, there will be homework and new things to learn, but you will have more control over the classes that you take and class times (this gets even better when you go to college). Also, in high school and college there will be many more interesting opportunities for joining clubs and organizations to do helpful things for other people and for your community. You will begin to feel like you really make a difference in this world and are somebody strong and giving.

In college, you will have almost total control of classes. I liked to set up my schedule so I wouldn't have any early morning classes (I could sleep in then) and no classes on Fridays so I could have a long weekend to babysit and clean houses for money so I could go shopping!

With high school and college come power and control of your life--plus you'll be learning all kinds of neat stuff that you WANT to learn!
