I am trying to find the name of a romantic comedy that was released within the last 5 years. I cannot remember any of the actor/actress names. Here are bits and pieces of the plot that I remember. There are three sisters. All have place names. The oldest sister is the main character, the middle sister gets pregnant during the movie and the father of the baby is Asian, the youngest sister rides a rocking horse and this gives her inspiration for winnning lottery numbers. The grandmother is a major character... a Shirley MacLaine type who holds the family together and has raised the sisters while her son (the girls' father) is mostly absent. The grandmother dies in a car accident and at the end of the movie there is a Thanksgiving or Christmas dinner scene outside where the grandmother's ghost is seen. The main character is trying to find love. The guy who is totally in love with her (who she sees as just a friend... and I think he is her neighbor) is a writer. He writes steamy romance novels under a woman's name. The main characters finally get together at a book signing.
