    What kinds of jobs if any will an employer hire if one has a criminal record in British Columbia?

    Probably anything where you can be licensed, bonded insured - you only know by applying.

    It also depends on why you have a criminal record - theft, something else?

    I stole from my employer (9 counts of theft under $5000) which is the worst kind of stealing... Next week on the 12th I go into court to hear my fate...

    Employee theft will NOT be overlooked by the next prospective employer - this is a mistake you may have to live with for the rest of your life.
