Do you think I will be arrested/violated tmorrow?
Ok, this is serious. I need answers QUICK, please if you have them.

I am on probation for a youthful offender charge. I have 3 years probation. I violated last year and was revoked and sentenced to a 7 month split and 3 years probation after I finished the 7 months in the county jail. It was for harassment against my then mother in law. I had an appeal and was released early because I was not guilty of the harassment charge BUT I was revoked and sentenced before that was proven... so that's why I spent all that time in jail. BS right?

Well, I am not supposed to have any contact with her anymore and I understand that I made a very stupid decision, I contacted her a couple of months ago regarding some old family pics of her and my ex and his deceased father. I had this huge box of pics from my divorce and was trying to be nice to her and give them back. I didn't cuss her or threaten her I just told her I had them and would meet her somewhere with them if she wanted them. Well she said she did and told me to bring them so I did! I dropped them off at my old house when nobody was there and called her afterwards and told her they were there and she said thank you. That was it.

Right before that happened though she went and signed ANOTHER warrant on me for "harassment" again! I had no idea until about 2 weeks ago I was arrested for it at my home because my parents got drunk and in a fight and the cops showed up and ran m name and found the warrant. I bonded out because it was the weekend and they didn't know I was on probation, I didn't tell the cops.

I told my probation officer everything a few days later after this happened and he was really nice but I don't know if he was being that way to trick me because I told him I would be seeing him in a few days (I have to report tomorrow). He told me that I wasn't supposed to have contacted her and I told him that I was very sorry but I honestly had no intentions of causing trouble and that she even thanked me for it so I don't know why she signed the warrant on me but please let me have a chance to solve it in court when I go for the harassment charge in February. He told me not to have any contact with her and don't get in anymore trouble and to see him when I go to report and that we would talk about it. It made me feel better but for the past few days I have been under so much stress and scared about it because he knows I will not run and will turn myself in so I am wondering if he is going to lock me up tomorrow or what. I called the jail in the county where I am on probation in and asked if I had any warrants (like a VOP) and they said NO.

I also have a message printed off as proof from where my ex mother in law apologized for the warrant and said that she would tell the jujdge she was wrong, that she had a nervous breakdown and was so stressed and sorry she did it but appreciated me giving them back to her...

I blocked her! The lady is NUTS. She's done this before but got away with it and never in trouble for it so she thinks she has power. She would love to see me go to prison, she's very sneaky and hateful.

I don't know what to do or say or expect tomorrow from him but if anyone knows what will probably happen or what I could do please let me know. I know it was stupid to contact her so please don't remind me, I KNOW. The obvious has been stated. My life and freedom is at stake now because of something so petty. I reaally was just trying to be nice and return that stuff.

I can't imagine going through pure hell again over this BS. Anyone know what I should do and/or expect? Thanks.

Whatever possessed you to contact her when you were on probation? You already got into trouble once over that!

We can't predict what your probation officer will do. But I would immediately contact your PO and explain what happened.

All the elements of your story don't add up to something that feels like the real story. But even the most clear cut stories about probation violations are too difficult to predict.

The PO may wait to see if you are convicted on the new warrant. He may talk to you and then decide. You can not tell what he is going to do. After your story, he may have went to talk to the Department Head, may have even talked to the judge ( in small cities)

My guess wait and see what happens on new charges.
