So the other night me and a guy friend started making out and we paused for a moment to discuss where this was going. He just got out of a relationship about half a year ago and told me he isn't quite ready for something emotionally committing. Earlier that night with some of my friends, we were at a party and he kind of kept his arm around me. While we were fooling around he was super affectionate and afterwards there was some cuddling and kissing. He even asked to me text him when I got home safe. Is it wrong of me to hope there is more to his feelings?

Its more than wrong, its unreasonable since he has told you he isn't ready for commitment, just making out, and kissing and stuff. He is more than ready for that.

Can you say he might be getting what he wants and you're the sucker that fell for it? He may be nice and all BUT he already told you his agenda... At least he did give you what info you needed upfront unlike most that will play the cards until it hurts someone. BE CAREFUL while YOU RUN the OTHER way!!

You can hope and want it to be more if you want. Personally it sounds like he is wanting it to be physically with no commitment on his part. My gut says he just wants more from you and not wanting to give anything of him.

So I would keep the "making out" out of it, and be friends, so when he is really for it to be more, then it can be more. I bet once the making out is gone, he will be too.
