    Need to wire a 2 lamp fluorescent fixture
    I need to wire a 2 lamp fluorescent fixture I need it to be wired for 1 bulb only is it possible

    Why... they work with just one bulb in them already.

    The fixture I'm putting it in will only hold 1 lamp so do I cut the other wires going to the fixture off

    Put wire nuts on the ends so there is no chance of shorting out, or touching them.
