    Therapy and Govt Jobs
Does going to a therapist affect a government job? I'd like to see a therapist but I do have a government job. I want to know if this will in any way affect my current and other future jobs within the government?

If it does affect anything, I can only envision it mattering in obtaining security clearances or for high risk assigments like special ops stuff and the like. And then it may be for good reason too? Perhaps you need to check with your work first. Asking is not the same risk as doing, so bear that in mind. Is there a human resources person you can ask that isn't so directly involved with you? As far as I know therapy is a private matter like any other medical arrangement. Should it be used against someone unfairly, I know about a half dozen lawyers who would take that on in a New York minute. LOL
