I'm confused. Why would you be prosecuted? What has their cancelling a check have to do with you? You need to flesh out the details here.

Well depends, Did they pay someone for the mobile home, and write a check to the old owner. The old owner signs the mobile home over to you.
If so, then you and your PARTNER were all part of the crime.
So yes if you helped try to get the mobile home without paying for it. So you will be expected to pay for the mobile home that was signed over to you. Or perhaps sign it back over and pay them back for any money they are out.

And of course they can and will. You were part of it, someone wrote a check , you benifited from it. It will sound to the court as if you had a plan to defraud the mobile home company. In fact they can even go after you for more charges, since you actually took possession of the mobile home.
So you had better find out why your friend cancelled the check and find out when they are going to make it good. If they don't, you had better.
Yes of course you will see or appear to be a partner to this crime to try and commit fraud to get the mobile home.
Have you went to give them title of the mobile home back and pay for any damages ?
Why did someone else write a check to them for you ?
What is your relationship with this person?

So someone wrote a check to the mobile home company in payment for YOUR mobile home, then cancelled that check. The company then had to pay fees for a cancelled check, plus your account is now in arrears?
In that case, yes you could be prosecuted. A prosecutor and a jury is unlikely to believe that someone just wrote a check that benefitted you without your being aware of it.
Again, you are giving us very scanty details. If you want to flesh this out, maybe we can help more.

Hello,
My sister has a leaky garden tub faucet. We can't determine how to access under the faucet. There is no access door. A closet is behind the faucet. When we remove the wallboard, we find the distance from the opening to the faucet too far away to access. Can you help?
