F1 status-thinking about getting pregnant during OPT
Hi, I'm currently a nursing student, will graduated in May 2012 and I'll set my OPT in motion for the next one year. Sir, want to know if there if its legally okay to take a maternity leave at about 9-10 months into my OPT allowance.
Also, sometimes last year, there was a petition to extend OPT for another 6 months, is that still in effect/available to F1 student that are practicing in the health care system? Thank you sir! |
