    Hi, Just a couple of questions: 1. Can I operate Skype if I have a wireless connection? 2. What hardware do I need to purchase to get started with Skype? Thanks

    Skype is free to download and I have wireless connection and it works you need a mic and if you want to do cam to cam you need web cam oh and speakers or headphones

    A headset containing a speaker and a microphone. Can be USB or standard. Standard headsets might require batteries for the mic whereas if USB they would be powered through USB.

    Skype has a store.

    There are Skype appliances that look like a telephone and have speakerphone capabiliies.

    If you have a Blutooth headset for your cell phone and bluetooth on your computer you can use that headset.

    But if there is a tesco were you are they sell a tecknika mic for about 6euro I have it and it works great

    You have PC you don't need to by a phone to use skype go to Skype official website – download Skype free now for free calls and internet calls

    Its easy to get started
