    Heil Gas Furnace not working - And its not the spark module...
    I have a Heil gas furnace (~10 yrs old) that was working about a week ago. As I go to turn it on, I can hear it start up but then nothing ignites. I had a service guy out that was convinced it was the spark module, so he came out with a replacement and ended up finding out he was off on his estimate. It now sounds like there are 2 relays that need to be replaced but his confidence level still seemed fairly low.

    Any idea what is going on with my furnace? Any things I should have this guy look at so we can detect the problem without jumping to conclusions? I am not much of an electronic techie; however, I can follow directions and am capable of at least understanding the problem and potential fixes.
