So we have been dating for a little over a year, and for the past couple months I have been at college. An hour away. She told me before I left that she always hated Long-distance relationships. We talked all the time. Like non-stop. Then that stopped. Suddenly. She always, always calls me between getting home from school and going to work. Call, text, something. Well I hadn't talked to her since the one text I got that morning. I was worried, and I know I should not have snooped but I did. I looked at her e-mail. Saw that she had just made a new skype a few days ago. Checked that. One friend, a guy. Ok. Not too bad, I guess, a little upset. Then decided to check her Google voice (free sms messages through internet) and they had been talking. A lot. Even when she had told me she was too tired to talk. She asked him to meet her at a place I know near her house that day. Well I was upset, left a few voicemails, I had no idea where she was. When she finally got home from work (I still don't know if she was, honestly). She called me, apparently her phone had died. I asked her about it, she said it was a joke her and her friend were playing on him. He liked her but her friend liked him. He asked her friend out then dumped her the next day, just to be mean. And I don't know what to think.
Because then a few nights later she said she was going ot bed, I said goodnight and all that. Well I checked her skype, she was talking to him... after she told me she went to bed and stopped texting back. At this point I was at home for semester break.
And once again, I should NOT have done this. But. I drove to her house, at 2AM. And went to her window, she was on her computer, asleep. I knocked. She shot up, slammed her computer shut and jumped to the window.
She told me it was netflix. But I heard the skype, it makes a sound when the mic amplifies too much. I know she was on. And there was no netflix history.
She keeps telling me to drop it, she gets so so angry if I try to ask anything about anything with her and this guy.
She says they are just friends. But I don't know.
Because today she told me, yeah we talk but only as friends. Friends don't send each other hearts. She keeps telling me she loves me. But we always go to sleep on skype together, she refuses to, tells me she just wants to sleep. I won't log into any of her things. I am sure she would cover it up anyway.
I want to trust her. So bad
I just bought her a $500 ring and I am afraid I am going to lose her
I love her. She has been changing, which I get. But I don't want to be played

Honestly it sounds like she may be cheating on you... or at least thinking about it.

Why... why would you buy her a $500 ring when you suspect this stuff is going on? That is not the answer my friend. If she's doing something behind your back, a ring is not going to solve anything.

I would be very cautious about her at this point.

We have talked for a long time about promise rings. She just bought me one. She knows I think she is cheating. I have been distant also recently (finals/borderline failing). I know her family stresses her. She is the only one with a job, and her mom always asks her for money. And she has finals this next week.
I want her too be happy. I think she is losing love, and like you said considering cheating.

NO!! Do not consider cheating that is the worst possible thing to do. I maybe new at this whole website chat thing but I have a lot of experiences, cheating will destroy your relationship with her and could possible destroy your future relationships. Unless ninjadanny means that she is then I think he and the others are right about that, or it could be a relative that she doesn't want you to know about or someone I don't know about that type of thing but there are so many possibility's, just keep your mind open. And if you think she is cheating then buying her a ring is the worst thing to do, and if she is the only one working then she could find that you have the money and you get the rest, takes your money makes you broke, but that is common to find in SOME women, not all are like that just be careful and now that you bought her a ring just watch your back and if you want her to stop talking to this person then you need to be forceful with her to tell you, or show you. Tell her that if she shows you what's going on that you will believe her but just remember this could also ruin your relationship with her toooo so be careful.
