Civic 2001 meter problem, help please
    Hi can any one help?
    I got 2001 civic 1.7 (1668cc) coupe 2dr new shape
Meter is temperamental as it stops working, all the functions in the meter I.e lights, gauges, rpm, speed, reading etc will stop working. The car runs and drives perfectly without having any fault. No problem with the battery and fuses.
When start it especially if it's cold, the battery light blinks and then the whole meter stops working. Sometimes it will show more petrol then it has in the tank and reading will come up as 8888888.
Mechanic said cluster/meter problem, he fixed it but still got the same problem. He said might be some bad earth with the body but he is not sure.
Anyone got any useful idea or experienced same issue?
    Thanks
